Giovanni Reyna has been loaned from Borussia Dortmund to Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season. The loan deal contains an option to make it a permanent transfer. 

Reyna was determined to leave Dortmund during this window. 

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Marseille, Monaco, Lyon, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Villarreal and Benfica were also interested.

Along with agent Jorge Mendes and father Claudio, Reyna was trying to find the best move possible, either on loan or on a permanent basis. Dortmund wanted around €15 million ($16.3 million) to transfer him.

Kylian Mbappe has received an offer to join Real Madrid next summer as well as another extension with Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe has been asked by Madrid for a definitive answer in the coming weeks, but other sources say no deadline has been given.

Mbappe is out of contract with PSG at the end of the season.

Madrid is reportedly not willing to offer as much as they did in the past as the club doesn't want to pay him significantly more than their established stars such as Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior. Those players earn around $11.4 million net per season.

Mbappé earns €37 million per-season at PSG and he has been offered the same salary in the club's new contract offer.

Liverpool also remains interested and are monitoring the situation. 

Manchester City have signed 18-year-old River Plate midfielder Claudio Echeverri. 

The deal is worth around $15.9 million plus add-ons. 

Echeverri also received interest from Barcelona. 

The deal City have agreed for Echeverri is similar to the arrangement that eventually brought Julian Alvarez to the Etihad.

West Ham have agreed to a loan deal with Manchester City for Kalvin Phillips.

The midfielder made a £43 million ($54.5 million) move from Leeds United to City in 2022 but has never been a significant part of manager Pep Guardiola's plans.

West Ham manager David Moyes has a long-standing interest in Phillips.

Karim Benzema is exploring his options to leave Al Ittihad during the January transfer window.

Benzema is not happy with how his stint in Saudi Arabia is panning out so far.

The Premier League could be a destination for Benzema with Chelsea showing interest. A return to Real Madrid is not a possibility for Benzema.

Reyna joined Dortmund from New York City FC in 2019 and made his senior debut in 2020.

Reyna has scored 13 goals across 88 appearances with Dortmund.

Kylian Mbappe plans to decide his future within the next few weeks with Real Madrid and Liverpool considered the most likely options.

Mbappe's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June and he will not trigger his option for a one-year extension.

Mbappe has lone been linked with Real Madrid and came close to joining the club in May 2022.

Mbappe is also an admirer of Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp and has not ruled out a move to the Premier League. Liverpool, however, is considered unlikely to afford his current wage of approximately $712,000 per week.

Mbappe could accept less money in his next contract should he leave PSG, but there will also be a significant signing fee for him to join as a free agent. 

PSG remains interested in retaining Mbappe.

Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United have agreed to a loan deal involving Jadon Sancho.

Sancho left Dortmund for United 2 1/2 years ago.

United have accepted the framework of a six-month loan proposed by Dortmund, which will include a small fee and a contribution to Sancho's wages.

Sancho hasn't played for United since August after publicly disputing Erik ten Hag's reasons for dropping him from the squad for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on Sept. 3.
